A perfect porridge for your little baby
- 1/2 cup Ragi Powdered
- 2 tsp Jaggery Powder or Shakkar
- 2 tsp Ghee
- 1 cup Water
Add ghee in a pan. In this video I have taken alsi oil. You can take any.
Once hot, add ragi to the ghee and saute it for 3 to 5 minutes till nice aroma comes.
Add jaggery and water to it. Mix it to remove any sort of lumps.
Keep mixing till you get the desired consistency of daliya.
- Do not add jaggery or sugar for babies below 1 years of age. Instead add sweetness from natural products like dry fruits powder.
- You can also add 1 tsp dry fruit mix to the daliya after adding jaggery to increase the nutritional content of daliya
