Ragi Daliya

A perfect porridge for your little baby

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup Ragi Powdered
  • 2 tsp Jaggery Powder or Shakkar
  • 2 tsp Ghee
  • 1 cup Water

Instructions
 

  • Add ghee in a pan. In this video I have taken alsi oil. You can take any.

  • Once hot, add ragi to the ghee and saute it for 3 to 5 minutes till nice aroma comes.

  • Add jaggery and water to it. Mix it to remove any sort of lumps.

  • Keep mixing till you get the desired consistency of daliya.

Notes

  • Do not add jaggery or sugar for babies below 1 years of age. Instead add sweetness from natural products like dry fruits powder.
  • You can also add 1 tsp dry fruit mix to the daliya after adding jaggery to increase the nutritional content of daliya
